Compassionate, evidence-based speech pathology and feeding therapy — supporting children and families at the start of their communication and mealtime journey.
"Janesis — beginnings, growth, and hope for every child's unique journey."
Janesis symbolises beginnings, growth, and hope. In speech pathology and feeding therapy, it reflects supporting children and families at the start of their communication and mealtime journey.
We nurture confidence, connection, and development through compassionate, family-centred and evidence-based care tailored to each child's unique strengths and needs.
Our approach is neuroaffirming, culturally responsive, and play-based — because every child deserves to be seen and celebrated for who they are.
Our therapy is tailored to each child's unique profile, delivered with warmth and backed by the latest evidence in paediatric speech pathology.
Supporting children with speech sound difficulties, expressive and receptive language delays, and social communication challenges. We build skills through engaging, play-based sessions tailored to each child's profile.
Evidence-based intervention for reading, writing, and phonological awareness difficulties. We help children develop the foundational skills they need to thrive in school and beyond.
Using the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach, we help children overcome oral-motor challenges, sensory aversions, and mealtime anxiety — creating safe, positive, and enjoyable eating experiences for the whole family.
Augmentative and Alternative Communication assessment and therapy for children who need support beyond spoken words. We help children and families find their voice through the most appropriate communication tools.
Janice is a Speech Pathologist who specialises in feeding and communication support for children with medical, developmental, and neurological conditions. She is trained in Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding, caregiver coaching, and trauma-informed approaches to help children overcome oral-motor challenges, sensory aversions, and mealtime anxiety.
With experience across home, Telehealth, clinic, school, and early childhood settings, Janice delivers neuroaffirming, culturally responsive, and play-based therapy that supports each child's individual profile. She works closely with families to create safe, positive mealtime experiences and meaningful communication outcomes.
She also enjoys collaborating with medical professionals, therapists, and educators to provide holistic, family-centred care.
We welcome NDIS self-managed and plan-managed participants. If your child has an NDIS plan, therapy may be funded under Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living. Please note we are not a registered NDIS provider, so we are unable to support agency-managed plans.
Private health insurance extras may cover speech pathology services. Please check with your insurer. We accept private payments and can provide invoices for rebate claims through most major health funds.
Children may be eligible for Medicare rebates through a GP Management Plan (Chronic Disease Management) or a Mental Health Care Plan. Ask your GP if your child qualifies for a referral to access Medicare rebates.
We'd love to hear from you. Whether you have questions, want to book an initial consultation, or simply want to learn more — reach out and we'll respond within one business day.
